Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for Seoggestion (seoggestion.com), a free SEO meta-tag analyzer built by Huevsite. We've kept this short and human — no dark patterns, no buried clauses.

1. What we collect

• URLs you analyze. The websites you submit to the analyzer are stored so we can show your scan history and improve our scoring algorithms.
• Your email address (only when you choose to provide it to unlock a detailed report).
• Your Twitter/X handle (optional — only if you want us to tag you when we feature your site).
• Anonymous usage analytics via Vercel Analytics (page views, no personally identifying cookies).

2. How we use your email

When you give us your email to unlock a detailed analysis report, here's exactly what happens:

• We store it in our database (MongoDB) so we can send you the report and recognize you on return visits.
• We may send you a one-time invitation to subscribe to our SEO newsletter. We will never add you to the newsletter automatically — you have to click a subscribe link yourself.
• If you choose to subscribe, your email is then passed to our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, which handles delivery, unsubscribes, and analytics for the newsletter.
• We don't sell your email. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. Ever.

3. The newsletter (Beehiiv)

Our newsletter is hosted on Beehiiv. By subscribing, you agree that your email is processed by Beehiiv under their privacy policy.

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, Beehiiv stops sending you emails immediately. You can also email us at huevsite.studio@gmail.com and we'll remove you manually.

4. Service providers we use

• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• MongoDB Atlas — database
• Resend — transactional and one-time invitation emails
• Beehiiv — newsletter (only after explicit opt-in)

5. Cookies

We use the bare minimum: a session cookie to remember your theme (light/dark) and Vercel's anonymous analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

6. Your rights

Whatever country you're in, you can:

• Ask what data we have about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
• Opt out of any future emails entirely

For any of the above, just email huevsite.studio@gmail.com. We respond within a few days. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data retention

We keep your email and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the change affects how we use your data, we'll let you know by email.
